01 – Meet representatives from similar Danube Region cities Connect with mayors, urban planners, impact investors, heritage practitioners, and civil society leaders from small and medium-sized cities facing challenges from industrial restructuring and demographic change. A rare and candid peer-to-peer exchange beyond the conference room.
02 – Explore sites undergoing transformation, otherwise inaccessible to the public Gain exclusive access to sites in full transformation: from disused industrial lands being converted into new mixed-use neighborhoods and industrial parks, to heritage monuments undergoing adaptive reuse. Witness concrete decisions, made in real-time, in well-defined places.
03 – Discuss investment and funding for regeneration Dedicated sessions on unlocking funding and capital for post-industrial projects: European instruments (ITI, Just Transition, NEB framework), impact investing, blended finance, and strategies for attracting private capital to regenerate brownfield sites and heritage.

For the afternoon of April 24 and the day of April 25, we are preparing guided tours of several emblematic industrial sites in and around Reșița. Conference registrants will have the opportunity to choose their preferred tour closer to the event.
Organized by Make Better in partnership with the City Hall of Reșița Municipality, ITI Banatul Montan Intercommunal Development Association and Iskriva Institute from Slovenia.
